Why Every Society is Doomed to Repeat the Same Mistakes
What if every society - from ancient civilizations to modern democracies - is doomed to repeat the same fundamental mistakes? Through a thought experiment about rebuilding civilization from scratch, this piece explores why even the most well-intentioned communities inevitably face the same human conflicts. As a documentary filmmaker who studies the patterns of human history, I examine whether our societal problems stem from flawed systems or from something deeper - the unacknowledged reality of human nature itself. The answer might challenge everything we believe about progress, morality, and the possibility of creating a truly harmonious society.
