Aloha everyone! I wanted to take a few moments to share with you all about a project that I’ve been working on for the past few years. It’s called Ancient Greece Revisited, and it’s a Youtube channel that explores the history and culture of Ancient Greece in a whole new way.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!
The idea for the channel originally came from my colleague Μιχάλης Μιχαηλίδης, who I met through a mutual contact back in 2019. As soon as I heard about his concept, I knew I had to be a part of it. Together, we’ve produced over 30 episodes, interviews, and podcasts, and we’re constantly working to improve and grow the channel.
One of the things that I love most about Ancient Greece Revisited is the way that we’re able to present the information in a visually stunning and thought-provoking way. We’re not just talking heads giving dry lectures – we’re using top-notch production value to create an immersive experience for our viewers. As the director, editor, and cinematographer, I work hard to ensure that each episode is as visually engaging as it is informative.
But what really sets Ancient Greece Revisited apart, in my opinion, is Michael’s writing and presentation skills. He’s able to take complex topics related to Ancient Greece and make them accessible to everyone, while still offering fresh insights and perspectives. Whether you’re a history buff or just someone who’s curious about the subject, you’re sure to learn something new from our channel. Oh and by the way the original language of the videos is in english to make it more accessible worldwide.
We’ve covered a wide range of topics so far, from politics to philosophy to love, and there’s an endless repository of subjects to explore. We’ve even had the opportunity to collaborate with other talented professionals like Konstantinos Kritikos and Μορίς Γκορμεζάνος as cinematographers, and Πέννυ Μπινιάρη, who composes original music for our episodes.
Our team may be small, but we have big ambitions. We believe that Ancient Greece Revisited could find a place on bigger video streaming services like Netflix or Amazon, and we’re working hard to get there. But regardless of where we end up, our goal is always the same: to offer a fresh take on a timeless subject, and to do it in a way that engages and inspires our viewers.
So if you’re looking for a Youtube channel that offers thought-provoking videos and ideas, I hope you’ll give Ancient Greece Revisited a try. It’s a labor of love for all of us involved, and we’re excited to share it with you.
